A letter has been written by the lawyer representing LaStaysha Myers to Webb City School District trying to clarify on whether it is ready to live up to its promise to allow her to wear t-shirts with Gay Pride messages on them during the 2005-2006 school year.
Should she and other students be allowed to wear this kind of clothing or would it be too disruptive?
The story is on the home page at www.rturner229.blogspot.com .

Well, the whole "out of the closet" thing has a lot of people's underwear in a jumble. You should be able to express your own opinion, but a lot of people can over react to things like that. I, personally, wouldn't mind, but I can't speak for everyone. If there were to be any violence over this, it would surely be an end to being able to express any sort of opinion. Everything deserves a chance, though.

Only closed-minded people would cause a dispruption over. And, frankly, I think that the person causing the disruption over something as unimportant as a shirt should be the one in trouble. The person wearing the shirt did nothing but exactly that-wear a t-shirt.
What's this world coming to?
