L. A. Times story explores dropout problem

This one's long, but it is worth it. The Los Angeles Times explores the problem of school dropouts. Does it start when students are so easily promoted despite failing work during their elementary and middle school years? What can be done to solve this problem?

THIS IS A SERIOUS TOPIC I CANT BELIEVE NO BODY HAS TALKED ABOUT IT!!! OH MY GOSH!! DROPPING OUT IS A CRIME! IT IS KILLING THE WORLD BECAUSE IGNORANT PEOPLE DECIDE TO QUIT LIFE BECAUSE ITS TOO HARD!! KEEP UP BECAUSE IT WILL HELP!!! SCHOOL IS NOT DIFFICULT BECAUSE IT IS SCHOOL I MEAN I LEARN AND UNDERSTAND BUT IN HIGH SCHOOL IT WONT CHANGE AS LONG AS I GET IT THE FIRST DAY, I'LL UNDERSTAND IT UNTIL I GRADUATE!!! HECK YES!! ONLY 4 YEARS LEFT OF SCHOOL UNTIL I GO OFF TO GO TO COLLEGE!!!

How is it that people dropping out is killing the world?? people arent wuiting life just because its hard.the are quiting school cuz its hard and not even cuz its hard.They quite because they dont want to be there.and some people have to quite school.Yes it does change,well if ur school doesnt change then ur going to one boring school.cuz my school changes almost every year.
