School, not peer pressure or violence, is considered the most stressful thing by teens, according to a Hartford Courant article.

Peer Pressure isnt the only stressful thing. School puts a lot of stress on the students. When I get a low grade on a paper I freak out because I think my grades going to drop. Even when I get a B on my report card I get upset because I know I can do better. School puts a lot of pressure on me, trying to keep up with that, but trying to spend time doing other things i need to do;doesnt give me time for the things I want to do.

I think that school is so stressful because I miss a lot of school and fall behind in my clases. Then I get my grade report and I may have a "C" or something and then I freak out. So I like try and do my best for the rest of the quarter.

Wow. You guys need to calm down. So you do bad on 1 thing- so what? I mean, you probably do great on everything else, why worry? At least, as long as you have done well on everything else-how could it hurt? And a B is really not that bad, even if you could have done better. It's simple, just do better next time. And about the "having to be perfect and be like everyone else", you're kidding right? You must be joking.
It seems to me that school is really only that stressful because you make it that way; it's all in your head.
